SABI SPRINGS
Sabi Springs Holistic Wellness Center - In response to the growing need for holistic wellbeing services among young adults in Charleston, South Carolina, Sabi Springs Holistic Wellness Center is envisioned as a sanctuary that integrates nature-inspired elements, flexible spaces for solitude and community, and a mindful selection of materials. Located in Summerville, South Carolina, the center aims to address the lack of comprehensive facilities catering to mental health and holistic wellbeing needs in the region. The design concept draws inspiration from wabi-sabi principles, embodying a contemporary yet timeless aesthetic. Curved walls reminiscent of the interior of a shell create a sense of fluidity and harmony, while vertical planked walls and slatted paneling add texture and warmth. A soft color palette of green and orange reflects nature’s calming influence and promotes a sense of tranquility. Sabi Springs Holistic Wellness Center is designed to offer a range of traditional therapies, such as counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness practices, to support mental health and emotional wellbeing. Additionally, the center will provide cutting-edge therapies, such as psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, to offer alternative treatment options for individuals seeking profound healing experiences. The layout includes flexible spaces that can be adapted for individual therapy sessions, group activities, or quiet contemplation. By creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, the center aims to provide a safe and healthy community for young adults seeking holistic wellbeing solutions. Overall, Sabi Springs Holistic Wellness Center aspires to be a beacon of hope and healing, offering a diverse range of traditional, psychedelic and holistic therapies that nurture the body, mind, and spirit, and empower young adults to lead fulfilling lives.

The redesigned Mystique Hotel in SoHo, New York offers a luxurious and immersive experience for tourists. Its blend of luxury, sophistication, and historical charm combined with organic modernism and subtle French Rococo elements creates a refined atmosphere. Located in vibrant SoHo, known for its artistic vibe and cultural attractions, Mystique Hotel provides guests with a lavish sanctuary that pays homage to its rich history while offering a contemporary experience, making it a sought-after destination.

MAISON DORÉE
Maison Dorée in SoHo, New York, is inspired by Mardi Gras and New Orleans’ French and Creole traditions. The rich color palette of purple, green, and gold, along with green onyx marble accents, reflects the carnival’s opulence. The logo—a vintage alligator with a crown—adds whimsy. With a white and black diamond tile floor and faux textured leather upholstery, Maison Dorée offers a luxurious yet inviting atmosphere. It celebrates New Orleans’ vibrant culture and flavors, evoking the French Quarter’s enchanting streets.
URBANE BOUTIQUE
Urbane Boutique, nestled within the elegant Mystique Hotel in the heart of SoHo, New York, epitomizes modern sophistication with a nod to organic minimalism. Drawing inspiration from the hotel's luxurious design palette of black, beige, and green, the boutique offers a curated selection of quality, timeless pieces alongside unique finds. The color scheme of black, beige, and touches of green creates a harmonious blend with the hotel's ambiance, ensuring a seamless transition for hotel guests, corporate clients, and the general public. The boutique caters to all ages, offering a range of products including bathrobes, bedding, lotions, shampoos, tote bags, scarves, tee shirts, silver and glass items, toiletries, razors, snacks, and drinks, all meticulously selected to uphold the highest standards of quality and style. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on customer satisfaction, Urbane Boutique is a beacon of refined elegance in the vibrant landscape of SoHo.
SMITH FAMILY
The Smiths’ home in Rock Hill, SC is undergoing a renovation to accommodate Grandmother Pearl and adoptive child Navya from Maharashtra, India. The design focuses on universal, sustainable, and cultural elements, drawing inspiration from Indian culture with Mughal design features. Neutral tones create a warm, modern feel, while an eco-friendly pool and smart home system add convenience and comfort. The renovation aims to welcome Navya and Pearl while maintaining the privacy and comfort of the rest of the family.
PEACH TREE RETREAT
The luxury townhouse blends modern elements with warm and cool tones for a welcoming atmosphere. Rich textures like leather, quartz stone, and wood flooring elevate its upscale feel. With an open floorplan, it offers privacy in key areas while maximizing natural light through large windows. Featuring a spacious family room, walk-in laundry room, and ample office space, it caters to every family member’s needs. The design seamlessly integrates organic modern elements with contemporary touches, achieving a sophisticated and carefully curated aesthetic.
KITCHEN
The bathroom and kitchen have been redesigned to seamlessly integrate with their home. The bathroom features two vanity sinks, a tub, a shower area, a linen closet, a towel warmer, and a special vanity for their daughter. The kitchen includes state-of-the-art Fisher and Paykel appliances, custom cabinetry with intricate detailing, a pull-out microwave, morning bar, eating area, walk-in pantry, and a command center. Using rich materials, neutral colors, mixed textures, and metals, both spaces exude luxury and relaxation. The en suite bath showcases visually elongated windows and

FUNGI LIGHT
The design concept of the Fungi Light is rooted in the desire to craft a luminaire sculpture that transcends mere functionality, aiming instead to evoke a profound sense of creativity and inspiration in each individual who encounters it. By enveloping the space with a warm white light that gently diffuses through the fabric, the sculpture casts a radiant orange glow, creating an atmosphere of optimism, tranquility, and enlightenment. The organic textures and shapes of the Fungi Light further enhance this immersive experience, drawing the viewer into a unique and magical world reminiscent of a fungi’s natural habitat.
FIRE
Inspired by the raw, transformative power of fire and smoke, this welded frame sculpture embodies the dynamic energy, warmth, and fleeting nature of these elements. Located in the schools harden garden, it stands as one of four elemental sculptures, each capturing the essence of earth, air, fire, and water. The frame’s intricate design and red-orange hues evoke the flickering flames, while softer elements suggest the delicate quality of smoke, inviting viewers to contemplate the elemental forces.
MOSAIC MOUNTAINS
The Senior Living design creates a welcoming and supportive environment for older adults, prioritizing independence, dignity, and social engagement. It features safe, comfortable, and accessible spaces that promote community and connection. Elements include natural lighting, easy navigation, durable materials, and technology for safety and convenience. Warm colors, comfortable furnishings, and sensory elements like plants and artwork create a homelike atmosphere. Outdoor spaces encourage physical activity and

GRAPHIC TEE
The Winthrop Interior Design Organization (IDO) branding aims to revive the organization and foster community. We empower individuals to represent themselves as proud student members, while recognizing the support of our board. Designs include a black Winthrop Interior Design t-shirt, a graphic IDO t-shirt, an IDO keychain tape measure, an IDO canvas tote bag, an IDO Board graduation stole, and an IDO graphic sticker, showcasing our commitment to excellence and community engagement.
